resilience & well-being

a 6-week yoga-based intensive

Get ready to reclaim your well-being and innate abilities for resilience! The 6-week Intensive for Resilience & Well-Being program is designed to help you get out of your funk and go from depleted to thriving using the ancient tools and knowledge of yoga. This program is for those who are feeling seriously ready to commit to themselves the time and energy for cultivating a life of wellness. You will learn, experience and practice strategies and tools from the ancient ways of yoga to revitalize and embody resilience, wellness, and inner peace.

What you can expect:
Each week you’ll take steps toward well-being through a specifically designed program using various methods and strategies of yoga. This will include identifying and cultivating values and true self, nervous system organization, pranayama (breath), asana (postures), and connecting inward through mindfulness and meditation. As this is a small, closed group, fostering a sense of safety and community will be a priority.

Time:
Three evenings a week for 6 weeks, plus two Saturdays. There will be suggested practices and assignments between sessions.

Also included are two one-on-one sessions. These could include individual sessions with a yoga therapist, meditation teacher, Ayurveda specialist, or other wellness practitioners based on availability.

After your application is received and reviewed, we will schedule a meeting (in person or virtual) to review details and ensure that we all agree the program is a good fit and the timing is right.

Please note: This is not psychotherapy. Though this may be an invaluable experience in addition to therapy, this program is not therapy. If you are currently experiencing severe mental health symptoms, such as suicidal ideation, psychosis, or homicidal thoughts or feelings we strongly encourage seeking out mental health treatment. Experience with yoga, mindfulness, and/or meditation is helpful though not required. All sessions will be held in person at The Yoga Center Retreat.
