SAMANTHA BONNER
RYT 200 | VINYASA, Restorative
Samantha completed her 200-hour through the Yoga Center Retreat.
Sam obtained her 230 RYT yoga certification from The Yoga Center Retreat in June 2021 and had a long-standing personal practice prior to acting on her passion to teach. She is also Yoga Calm trained and hopes to bring the joy of yoga to younger populations.
Sam holds a recreational therapy degree and is a certified Child Life Specialist. She currently works as a Child Life Specialist at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis and utilizes mind-body connection work to help kids and their families work through some of the most stressful times of their lives. Utilizing breathwork, grounding, and mindfulness to help hospitalized kids and their families has shown Sam how powerful and healing this work can be. One of Sam’s foremost aspirations is to bring yoga to all ages.
Her style is vinyasa flow and restorative yoga. She truly feels there is something magical that happens with the mind-body connection when your body is given the opportunity to flow while connecting movement with breath. It is a holistic meditation of movement.
When Sam is not practicing yoga, you can find her spending as much time outdoors as she can with her husband and three young boys. Running, reading, baking, catching up with friends, and any activity that allows her to get immersed in a podcast are also on her favorites list.
Sam has immense gratitude for being given the opportunity to guide others in their journey in yoga and self-discovery.
