Linda is a certified 500 hour Kripalu yoga teacher, with extensive training in Yoga Nidra, 5 Element Yoga, Prana Flow, Pranayama, and Chakra Yoga.
Linda has been studying and teaching yoga, mostly in upstate NY for over 40 years. Due to living in close proximity to the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA, she has had the unique opportunity to not only study with but assist with trainings by many master teachers including Shiva Rae, Anodea Judith, Rodney Yee, Jennifer Reis, Donna Eden, and many more.
Linda has taught both beginner and advanced yoga to children, adults, seniors, pregnant and new moms, and recovering drug addicts in a rehab center. Her current area of interest is in working with women or men who either have or are at risk of Osteopenia and Osteoporosis. She recently studied with Dr. Fishman, a Manhattan MD, who developed the Fishman Method of Yoga for Osteoporosis. Her classes are strengthening, heart opening, individualized and deeply calming and relaxing. She brings light heartedness and a deep commitment to each class.
Linda is also a certified Integrative Health Coach, a Brown Belt in the Nia Technique, (a holistic dance exercise class, which she taught for 12 years) and is currently beginning a practice in Women Centered Coaching. She loves all things yoga, dance, travel, horses, nature, French, health, and her grandchildren.
