Brenda is completing her 200-hour through the Yoga Center Retreat.
Brenda has been teaching yoga and working as a fitness and wellness coach for 20+ years. Her love of yoga started after taking a class that left her feeling a mind, body, and spirit shift that she had never felt before. She knew she had to learn how to teach yoga, so she could provide an opportunity for others to experience something so unique. She started out as a fitness yoga instructor but evolved into hatha and gentle yoga for the benefits of slowing down and going deeper into each pose. Her education and certifications are derived from a variety of sources, including studying kinesiology (exercise science), yoga and meditation at the University of Minnesota.
She loves working with individuals who want a well-rounded and sustainable approach to wellness, and therefore builds a strong and healthy wellness foundation using a mind, body, spirit approach. “I love to encourage clients and students to go safely beyond “boundaries” to uncover the hidden strength and potential that resides within…and to have some fun while doing it.”
