Hatha Level 1/2

In Sanskrit, the word “hatha” means effort — the effort required to engage in a physical practice as a pathway to the metaphysical benefits of yoga. Moya will lead you on a  journey to unite body, mind and breath, and take your yoga into deeper, more meaningful places. Introductions to backbends and inversions may be included.

Level 1/2, but ALL levels and backgrounds are welcome.

Hatha Yoga- All Levels

This class is based on traditional asanas, emphasizing good alignment, deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body. It is a well-instructed class that builds core strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as concentration and breath control.The instructor is an Āyurvedic doctor who integrates the wisdom of Ayurveda into the practice and principles of Yoga. The postures are based on the Āyurvedic understanding of the energetic changes within the four seasons and times of day. The class goal is to promote healing, and achieve a harmonious state of body and mind with respect to individual consciousness. This class is well supported and helps students find their potential to reach their healthiest edge.

Restore + Renew

Restore and Renew yourself with this gentle, meditative class. Students will focus on steadiness and comfort, honoring the body’s wisdom and cultivating intuition.

Class will include mantras, mudras, yoga postures, breath work, and meditation to cultivate balance and nourish peace within.

Open to all levels.
